Millwall’s Femi Azeez Stuns Leeds United with Brace in FA Cup Upset
Millwall midfielder Femi Azeez produced a standout individual performance, scoring two goals to help his side secure a 2-0 away victory over Championship leaders Leeds United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The 23-year-old, born in England to a Nigerian father and a Spanish mother, led the charge for the visitors, who currently sit 14th in the Championship table. Azeez’s heroics stunned the home crowd at Elland Road as Millwall progressed to the fifth round of the prestigious competition.
Leeds dominated the early stages of the match and created several clear-cut opportunities, but Sam Chambers, Wilfried Gnonto, and Largie Ramazani were unable to convert. Azeez made the hosts pay for their profligacy, breaking the deadlock with a stunning goal in the 30th minute.
